Our successful promotion of this 30ha site on land to the east of Scalford Road, Melton Mowbray, secured an allocation in the adopted Melton Local Plan as part of the Melton North Sustainable Neighbourhood.
Working collaboratively with Taylor Wimpey, William Davis and Melton Borough Council, the masterplan and design codes for the Melton North Sustainable Neighbourhood were formally adopted in Oct 2021.
We continue to work collaboratively with Taylor Wimpey and William Davis and have co-ordinated the submission of our respective planning applications for phases within the Melton North Sustainable Neighbourhood. The Barwood outline planning application comprises up to 575 dwellings, community, retail and/or health uses and includes provision of medical or health services, community hall / changing rooms pavilion, strategic landscaping, sports playing pitch and children’s play areas.
We continue to work with the Council to secure the determination of this application.
